Why I deserve an A for my color wheel
I think I deserve an A because I feel I met all the requirements. I put all 12 colors in the correct order. I made some of the feather frills not so straight and perfectly painted to add some real life effects. Even though I had troubles mixing my own colors, I kept trying and finally got the results I wanted. I feel my piece is very original. I added peacock heads in the middle of the feathers to help people know they're peacock feathers. I used class time wisely and didn't talk all the time and was constantly working.
Color wheel F.D. 9
I put texture on the birds and made their eyes white with black pupils. I also made their beaks orange. I really like how this piece has turned out. I think it is way better then anything I've painted before and I'm excited to see what else I can do through the course of the year.
Color wheel F.D. 8
I couldn't decide what to do with the tips of the feathers so I decided to use a grey to outline them and added the eyes and beak.

Color wheel F.D. 7
Finished with the color wheel part. Now to finish the peacocks and figure out what to do with the end of the feathers. I was thinking maybe the two colors used to make the one color, one on each half.
Color wheel F.D. 5
Added lots of colors the past couple days. Thinking about redoing the orange because it looks more like rust then the orange I wanted.
Color wheel F.D 2
Started painting today. I started with the blue line because I wanted to see how well it stood out against the black paper.
Color wheel F.D. 1
I decided to put my design on black paper and add peacock heads to make it more original. I'm excited to see how this will look.
Color wheel R.D. 2
Added a border on it but I don't think I'm gonna put it on the final. It takes away from the feathers themselves.

Why I deserve an A
I took my time and made sure all of my lines didn't get wrinkled or overlap where they're not supposed to. I feel the proportion is very accurate. I represented the line by using similar colors from the design. I used curvy lines, strait lines, dotted lines, dashed lines, and zig zaged lines. I made sure to use an exacto knife to cut all my edges and not tear any ends unless they were folded over the edge of the cupboard door.
Tape cupboard day 8
Added some red and white triangles. I figured if I layer the tape and cut the top layer, its super easy to make good triangles.
Tape cupboard day 6
Made some red curlys. It took me a while to get it right but I finally figured out a way to get then right.

5 cupboard project requirements
The requirements for the cupboard project are: craftsmanship, proportion, representation, variety of line types, and no torn edges.
Why i deserve an A
I think I deserve an A because in my opinion, I fulfilled the three requirements. I used vertical, horizontal, diagonal, curved, intersecting, dotted, dashed, wavy, and curly lines. I emphasized the original line by putting a border of yellow and pink triangles around the bottom of the line. I filled the line with many different types of lines.
Line project day 5
I added little circle things all around the top. Still have to figure out how to fill up the space on the bottom.
Line project day 5
I lined the bottom of the original line with pink and yellow triangles. I think the colors emphasized the line quite a bit.

3 requirements
The three requirements are: fill up the paper, have 8-10 major line types, and emphasize the line.

Line project day 4
Added some details around the main line. I hope I can think of more ideas to bring out the original line.
Line project day 4
I feel like I'm not emphasizing the line as much as I should. Need to think of more ways to make the line pop.

I think the first requirement should be how many types of lines there are. It would be boring if all the lines are the same. The second requirement should be how much time and effort they put into their piece of art. If they just draw random lines and not try, they shouldn't be graded highly. The third requirement should be how much of the class period they spend working on the project compared to how much they spend talking. If they're talking all period and not working it wouldn't be a good use of time.
